The Rundown: Diana discovers a secret in the maze and fights for a way to escape.

On the Wild Isle, young Diana sits with the goddess and the two come to an understanding after the goddess sees the unusual ways Diana can achieve victory. In the present, Diana discovers that the creature at the bottom of the well is actually a fellow Amazon named Io who has used the ruse to rescue others and create a small society beneath the maze.
After discovering that Io and the others have been digging beneath the maze to find a way out, Diana comes up with an idea that will allow her to not only help the small society escape, but also save her friend Ferdinand and the unknown entity helping her.
The Story: Thompson delivers an engaging, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I love the emotional moments with Io and how the story continues to showcase the character and her evolution. There are some great character moments and dialogue throughout the issue and everything culminates in an engaging finale that makes me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Sherman offers beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and how perfectly it captures the characters and tone of the series.
